Dr. Michael Adney, D.C., CAC

Dr. Michael Adney is the owner of Sport Horse Chiropractic, a mobile chiropractic practice dedicated to helping horses move comfortably, function optimally, and perform at their best. He works with horses across a wide range of disciplines, providing individualized chiropractic care for competitive athletes, working horses, and valued equine partners.

Dr. Adney earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2016. He completed advanced animal chiropractic training through Options for Animals and subsequently earned certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). His approach focuses on restoring proper joint motion, supporting healthy nervous system function, improving mobility and flexibility, and helping horses better manage the physical demands of training and competition.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Adney is an equine chiropractic instructor with Animal Chiropractic Continuing Education (ACCE). Through ACCE, he helps teach animal chiropractic seminars to veterinarians and chiropractors throughout the country who are seeking to advance their skills in animal chiropractic care. Teaching allows him to contribute to the continued growth of the profession while helping ensure that animals receive knowledgeable, effective, and compassionate care.

Dr. Adney is also the author of Stretching Exercises for Horses and the creator of the Equine Stretching Masterclass, an online stretching program for horse owners. He is passionate about educating owners and trainers and providing them with practical tools to support their horses between professional appointments.

Dr. Adney routinely travels throughout Arizona and beyond to provide equine chiropractic care at barns, training facilities, and competitions.
